Our Work

At Sitara, we work on a range of problems in the education space. We are committed to providing contextualised and meaningful education to underserved communities. Our in-house curriculum is built for maximum interaction and the development of 21st Century skills, using gamified and relatable modules. It is curated and facilitated by a team of young adults who leverage the weight of vernacular to make learning inclusive of non-native English speakers.

We are hungry to create change and we are here to stay.

Accessible Ed-Tech

Modern problems require modern solutions.

A one-stop-shop for SSLC children across Karnataka, leveraging the power of YouTube and WhatsApp to make quality vernacular education easily available at every child’s fingertips.

“This is a young and energetic team with noble intentions”

Vision Empower has benefited immensely through the collaboration with the dynamic Project Sitara team! Their willingness to dedicate time to make society more inclusive is highly commendable. They have contributed to VE through volunteers who jumped in to create Teacher Instruction Kits for Science for children with visual impairment in high school. Their eagerness to learn about the challenges of children with visual impairment and work with them one on one was highly appreciated by the VE education coordinators, special educators and domain experts and warmly acknowledged by the students themselves. They also created a hugely subscribed event name the Visionary Ideathon to gather ideas for making Science and Math more accessible for visually impaired students. This is a young and energetic team with noble intentions and I wish them luck in all their endeavors and look forward to continued association with Vision Empower!
